Ingredients Needed:

2 Cups Quick Cooking Oats

(Pictured Below- I’m sure any kind will do though)

1 Cup Rice Krispies Cereal

(Off Brand will do)

1/4 Cup Butter

1/4 Cup Honey

1/3 Cup Brown Sugar (packed)

1/2 tsp. Vanilla

2 Tbsp Chocolate Chips

(Or until your satisfied with coverage of granola)

To Make:

1. Put your Honey, Brown Sugar, and Butter into small saucepan on medium-medium high heat.

2. Let mixture bubble 2-3 minutes.

3. While mixture is bubbling combine your oats and Rice Krispies in a bowl.

4. Once your saucepan has bubbles 2-3 minutes, remove from heat, add vanilla.

5. Pour mixture over your oats and mix (a lot!)

6. Get a baking pan or baking dish of your choosing.

Note: the bigger the dish the smaller the granola bars. My 8 X 11 dish worked great for me!

7. Line the dish with plastic wrap or lightly grease dish to prevent sticking.

I chose to line it with plastic wrap so I could use the plastic to cover it while I further packed the mixture with my fingers.

8. Add mixture to lined dish and pack tightly.

9. Sprinkle Chocolate Chips over dish and push them into mixture. Let Cool.

Confession: I didn’t want to wait to eat these so I popped them in the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes to cool.
